Melissa Sowder
Hi! I’m Melissa Sowder, owner and master stylist at The Frosted Pineapple. I graduated from the Aveda Frederic’s Institute in Indianapolis in 2007. After hair school I had a rigorous apprenticeship training in Louisville.
In my 14 years in the beauty industry I’ve taught and attended multiple classes, not only in Louisville, but Indianapolis, Ohio, Chicago and New York. I’ve found that my true passion lies behind the chair making my clients look and feel their best, and building lasting connections. I consider my clients family.
I have two beautiful kids, a 12 year old dog and a very talented and loving husband who did all of my lighting in the salon. In my free time, you’ll catch us at our neighborhood pool, the lake or doing random projects at the house!
Holly Cline
My name is Holly Cline, I am a mother of two amazing boys, Waylon-6 and Archer-15. I’m married to the love of my life- Joshua. I’ve been doing hair for 19 years now and love my job more now than I ever have. Partly because of the team of girls I get to work with! Having a supportive and loving group of women surround you every day is such a blessing.
Sharon Snyder
Master stylist with over 15 years experience. Previously owned Sharon Elizabeth Salon. Now, I am looking forward to continuing to serve my clients at The Frosted Pineapple located in Historic Middletown. My goal is to provide my clients with a therapeutic salon experience while ultimately achieving their best look by educating them on how to embrace and enhance their natural beauty.
A fun fact about me, I used to work for Churchill Downs and do haircuts in the Jocks room.

Jasmine Rigling
Hi, I’m Jasmine! I am a Master Stylist, who loves every aspect of being a cosmetologist! I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky, with a degree in Gender and Women Studies. (Go Cats!) Through extensive research on intersectionality, I grew my love for people. I knew that whatever I chose to do, I had to be in a position to learn from others and to make people feel great about themselves! I then started my journey of cosmetology school in 2020 and have adored every second!
I am a Territory Educator for Bello Haven Extensions. While I do color, cutting, extension services; I also enjoy doing special event hair/ makeup as well as waxing! My favorite part of being a stylist is the personal connections I am able to cultivate, while providing a service that I am passionate about!
When I am not at the salon, I am with my fiancé Dorian and our sweet pup Maggie. I look forward to meeting you at The Frosted Pineapple!
